Any hopper might find it useful to look out for this competition on Full Time. The Herefordshire League’s comparative isolation is also its strength and there are clubs with excellent facilities playing at Step 7 when if they were a little more centrally placed you wonder if they’d be playing higher up the pyramid. At my stage of my groundhopping “Career” I’ve got to a point where a floodlit new ground midweek has to be worked on. The limiting factor is my two-hour window opportunity from finishing work at 5:30 at Oxford, and in planning the week in question I was quietly contemplating a mad dash to Selsey.  If everything that needed to behaved I’d have arrived a couple of minutes before kick-off. A first for me this, as I don’t think I’ve watched a game INSIDE a horse racing track! The pitch is part of the leisure centre, but you do have to walk across the horse racing track to get it, set as it is, inside a running track. This ground was using for a short time by Pegasus Juniors, before they moved in to their new ground in Old School Lane. To the left the Bulmers Cider Factory is clearly visible.
