When we at GroundhopUK started to put together this edition of the UCL Hop the thought of going to Owen Street hadn’t crossed our minds. Coalville were nicely esconced in the Southern League Premier Central, but then came the shocking news that they wrere resigning, citing financial difficulties. They were quickly accepted by the United Counties League which immediately created an unusual situation for us.

Where do I start with this one? Probably with the most obvious, we were taking advantage of a club that normally groundshares playing a rare game at home. Spartans Youth are starting their third season in the first division of the Combined Counties League, but have groundshared at Northwood, and this season at Bedfont FC, a little nearer to the planes flying into Heathrow!
